Custom search style ad settings

All of the available ad settings for Custom Search Ads are described below.

Global options

Use these settings to apply styles across your ads:

Setting	Description
Font	Set the font for the text in your ads. You can choose from a range of Google fonts.
Font Colour	Set the font colour for the text in your ads.
Background colour	Set the background colour for your ads.
Padding	Set the padding around the top, bottom and sides of your ads.
Borders	Set the border size and colour for your ads.

Headline

Use these settings to style the headlines of your ads:

Setting	Description
Font	Set the font and font colour for the headlines.
Font size	Set the font size for the headlines.
line-height: 100% !	Set the line height for the headlines.
letter-spacing	Set the letter spacing for the headlines.
Emphasis	Choose whether you want the headlines to be bold, italicised or underlined
Padding	Set the padding around the top, bottom and sides of the headlines.

Display URL

Use these settings to style the URL text of your ads:

Setting	Description
Font	Set the font and font colour for the URL text.
Font size	Set the font size for the URL text.
line-height: 100% !	Set the line height for the URL text.
letter-spacing	Set the letter spacing for the URL text.
Emphasis	Choose whether you want the titles to be bold, italicised or underlined.
On rollover	Set the emphasis and font colour for the URL text on rollover.
Padding	Set the padding around the top, bottom and sides of the URLs.

Description

Use these settings to style the description text of your ads:

Setting	Description
Font	Set the font and font colour for the descriptions.
Font size	Set the font size for the descriptions.
line-height: 100% !	Set the line height for the descriptions.
letter-spacing	Set the letter spacing for the descriptions.
Emphasis	Choose whether you want the titles to be bold, italicised or underlined.
Padding	Set the padding around the top, bottom and sides of the descriptions.

Ad badge

Use these settings to style the ad badge in your ads:

Setting	Description
Font	Set the font for the ad badge. You can choose from a range of Google fonts.
Background colour	Set the background colour for the ad badge.
Borders	Set the border colour, size and radius for the ad badge.
Padding	Set the padding around the top, bottom and sides of the ad badge.

Image

If your layout includes an image, use these settings to style the image in your ads:

Setting	Description
Width	Set the width of the image.
Height	Set the height of the image.

Left container

If your layout includes an image in the left-hand column, use these settings to style the image in your ads:

Setting	Description
Background colour	Set the background colour for the ad image.
Margins	Set the margins around the top, bottom and sides of your ad image.
Padding	Set the padding around the top, bottom and sides of your ad image.
Borders	Set the border colour, size and radius for the ad image.
Width	Set the width of the image.
Height	Set the height of the image.
